Booster Club Meetings
Viper Football Booster Club meetings are held every Wednesday at 6:30 during the season.
Meetings are held at Space Coast High School in the weight/film room.
PLEASE NOTE: To be elected to the office of President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary or Football Information Director, a candidate must be member in good standing having paid their club membership fee; must have attended a minimum of 10 board meetings prior to their election to such position.
Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. BE INVOLVED! STAY INFORMED!

We are having our Booster Membership drive! It's $15.00 for a family or $10.00 for an individual.
You must be a Booster Club member if you want to run for a Board positon in the future!

PUBLIC NOTICE VIPERS FOOTBALL BOOSTER CLUB ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING
Vipers Public Notice
Notice is hereby given for the Vipers Football Booster Club Annual Business Meeting for the submission of nominations for the election of officers for 2012. The meeting is to be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Space Coast High School, in the film/weight room at 6150 Banyan St., Port St. John, 32927 at 6:30 p.m.
The Nomination Process
Please refer to the Viper Football Booster Club Constitution and Bylaws, which can be found and downloaded at
Vipers Football By Laws 2010 for the information and requirements to hold an Officer/Director position within the Viper Football Booster Club. All nominees/officers of the Club shall have a child that is participating in the School’s Football Program. Officer/Director positions are held for one year, starting January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012.
Nominations will be received for the election of officers for the following positions at the end of 2011:

Nominees are vital to the continued success of Vipers Football Booster Club. This is an opportunity to function at a higher volunteer level and get involved in setting the future direction of the Vipers Football Booster Club. Nominations for all candidates must be submitted during the Annual Business Meeting on November 30, 2011. Candidates should have confirmed their willingness to serve.

Tickets can be purchased for $10.00 each at Football Booster Meetings on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
in the Football Team Room (inside team weight room).
Ticket sales will go through November 30th, 2012. Players will also be selling tickets.
Football player’s meal is complementary. Coaches and one guest meal is complementary.
All sponsors are welcome to bring one guest and their meals are complementary.
All other guest tickets are $10.00 each.

Sports Physicals
All Althetes playing High School sports are required to have new physicals that are dated AFTER June 1st, 2011. You must have the physicals and consent forms turned into the school before the season starts or you will not be able to participate.

Florida High School Athletic Association Consent and Release From Liability Certificate (EL3)
Dr. Allotta at Parrish Medical Center is offering reduced sports physicals for $10.00 on the days designate below. Please bring in the required physical forms with you (EL2 and EL3). You are responsible for getting a physical by either Dr. Allotta, your own physician or else where. You must call to make an appointment for Dr. Allotta. If you can't make the physical dates and schedule a physical in Dr. Allotta's office, mention it's for Space Coast and the price will only be $25.00.

Vipers 2011 Football Coaches Golf Tournament - June 25th

The Vipers golf tournament was held June 25th and was lots of fun. Everyone had a great time!
A big thanks to Jabbers for providing lunch, all the parents who helped volunteer and made it a success, Mildred Coyne for leading the effort, and Karen Livengood for getting the Great Outdoors Pavillion. ATTENTION: All Families and Players. The football team is in need of items for the upcoming season. It's not too early to start thinking of next season. Please consider helping out. It's easy, fun and helps to make the Viper Program a success for all the players, trainers, coaches, and Viper fans.

Current Meals Coordinator - Position needs to be filled
Team meals are on Thursdays, need donations and help in setup. We will need parents to help with Freshman/JV/Varsity.
What are Team Meals and Volunteering?
Team meals are prepared and served to the Varsity players every week usually the night before game night.
We try to hold the team meals at the school in the cafeteria. We feed all the players that show up and Coach says a few words to the players.
The meals change each week and we ask for parents to volunteer food and desserts to help with the cost.
We have been very fortunate over the last few years with donations and have been able to keep the cost down so that the players and coaches get other things they need from the booster club.
We cannot do the meals without volunteers to help with preparations, serving, set up and clean up. We meet around 4:30 pm to set up and the boys arrive about 5:15 pm to eat and we wrap it up by 6:30.
Menus are made up in advance to give parents the opportunity to donate food items when they find it on sale.
It takes a lot of food to feed the players each week. We feed about 85 every week including coaches.
We also give the JV players a sub meal before they play and looking for FR/ JV parents that will be willing to help with this each week.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL VIPER SENIOR PLAYERS
All parents of Seniors:
Please be informed that your son needs to be registered for the NCAA clearinghouse immediately. The possibility of being recruited without this is 0%. He must also have a test score now or
no later than November. The blackout dates can be found on the NCAA website as to when the a recruiter
can contact you .You can contact a college coach anytime you want.
